Bottle Slumping

Bottle slumping is avialbe at our studio!

Turn any bottle ito a functional trivet or cheese cutting/serving board. Bottles are fired on the 1st and 15th of each month. The cost is just $7 per bottle. Drop off your dry, clean bottles and they will be slumped onthe next firing date. Paper and plastic labels must be removed as they will not withstand the firing process. Painted and etched designs will.

Slumping may take up to two to three weeks depending on the number of bottles received at firing time.

Extras
Add high fire wire for hanging . add $2

Bottle slumping checklist

1. Rinse bottles and allow to drain upside down to remove all liquid

2. Remove all paper, plastic, and metal labels...we cannot accept any bottles with labels on the bottles. Even though the label will burn away from the high heat, an ugly residue will remain on the glass surface.

3. Drop off bottles at location...slumping may take up to 2-3 weeks depending on the volume received. We slump bottles between potery and fused glass firing for the studio.
